6-3-1 Formula for Success? Friday, March 14
Keadilan Online reported that as the allocation of seats for the Perak Exco namely 6-DAP, 3-PKR and 1-PAS. Mr Nizar will be the MB flanked by Mr Ngeh as Deputy 1 and a yet to be named PKR candidate (nothing new here).
Its a sign of inroads being made, PKR being the first party to make the announcement. Suffice to say Mr Ibrahim played a vital role in mediating the agreement.
As of now, yet to be confirmed in the main stream media. This remains an interesting development.

Perak - Agreement Reached
An agreement has been reached among the DAP-PKR-PAS coalition in Perak according to Mr Anwar Ibrahim.
It seems increasingly likely that the only person who can hold the 3 parties together will be Mr Ibrahim by the looks of things.
Yet to be reported in the main stream media as of now, it'll be interesting to see what transpires.

Asia's Tallest Statue of Jesus in Indonesia Wednesday, December 12
Indonesia unveils one of Asia's tallest Jesus Christ statue. Standing at 30m tall, it naturally pales in comparison to the statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro but Brazil is predominantly Catholic, Indonesia is not. That says it all.

Malaysian Born Minister in the Australian Cabinet Friday, November 30
Just out of interest. Penny Wong has been hand picked as Minister for Climate Change and Water in the new Australian government under Labor leader Kevin Rudd.
PENNY WONG (39) - Minister for Climate Change and Water. South Australian senator. First elected 2001. Opposition portfolios have included employment and workforce participation, corporate governance and responsibility, public administration and accountability. Labor's 2007 election campaign spokeswoman. Malaysian-born Wong has worked as an industrial officer, solicitor and barrister. It'd be interesting to watch next year's election back home.
